Heavy Rescue First Responder

2 Day course

Designed around a standard "B" type Fire Appliance inventory. 

Ensures all responders are well prepared for the risk critical interventions required in the early stages of a Serious Heavy Rescue incident.

This course gives the foundation safety critical knowledge and safe systems of work required for all Wholetime and On-call Firefighters at an Heavy Rescue incident .

This course is also well suited to all attending partner agencies such as Police, Ambulance, Hart and Highways. 

Course content ensures should they arrive on scene prior to the Fire Service their staff are able to manage the scene and vehicles appropriately to make safe access to any casualties. It will also give them a basic understanding of FRS considerations and procedures within the early stages of a Heavy Rescue incident.
